Favorite Songs
Okay so I'm just a little slow, but I just saw that Niamh tagged me so here are my favorite songs of moment:
1) "Collide" - Howie Day
2) "Clocks" - Coldplay (I think that is the name of the song?!?!)
3) "Heaven is a Place on Earth" - Belinda Carlisle
4) "Are you going to be my girl" - Jet
5) "Live like you were dying" - Tim McGraw
Okay most of those songs are because I have been hanging out with Kyle, but they are all really good! And I will have to tell you all a story about why #3 is on there!!!
Well I think I am finally mostly unpacked in my apartment. I have a few things to hang on the wall, but I can't really figure out where to put them. On Wednesday I'm getting a chair from my grandmother's house for my living room. I'm excited because that means I can get rid of the crappy bowl chair that I have had since college. But it definately is starting to feel like home now :)

Chicago here I come!!
I'm so excited :) Yesterday I bought plane tickets to go up to Chicago to see one of my really good friends that I grew up with, Megan. She moved up there with her family in '96 and we have stayed in touch since. I have been wanting to go up and visit her, but it just never worked out. Well we finally worked out a time that was good for the both of us!! I flying up there Friday, April 15th and coming back Monday, April 18th. I'm not really sure what we are going to do, but I'm sure we will have a blast!! If anyone has been up there and has any suggestions at what to do or see, please let me know!!!
Baby Update- Both babies are doing fine - getting bigger each day. Nancy is actually going to bring Mackenzie to have lunch with me sometime next week. Yesterday, Chris took Thomas to see our grandmother too! She is so excited about having two great grandchildren!!

What a day!!
Man, let me tell you guys about what happenned today!! It was all going well. Work was going fine, not too busy. Elizabeth came in about 10:30 with Meredith, so that was exciting :) Well we were all playing and talking, and the next thing we know, Meredith trips and slices the top on her eye on the outside door. We thought she was fine at first, but then we saw the blood. Elizabeth grabs her and I rush the both of them to her doctor. Poor little Meredith is crying so hard and she doesn't know what is going on. Her doctor finally stiches her up ( 8 stiches ) but her mom, the nurse and I all have to hold her to keep her still. It was so sad:( She was just kept saying "No No!! Mommy!!" Meanwhile, Jay, Elizabeth's husband, is calling every few minutes to see what is happening (he was in Fayetteville). So after he finally got to the doctor, we came back to the office. After about 10 minutes, Meredith was back to her old self, running around and playing. Poor little girl :( It was so hard seeing her in so much pain and not being able to help her:( :(

My weekend!
Sorry it has been a while since I've posted anything, but work and everything has been a little crazy lately. I was off work last Thursday and Friday and Elizabeth is off this Thursday and Friday, so we have been trying to get caught up and then get everything done for when she leaves. It was really nice though to have those days off last week!! I'm not sure how many of you guys knew or not, but I went to Orlando this weekend to go to Super Soap Weekend at MGM Studios!! I know you are probably thinking what is Super Soap and why am I going down to Orlando for it? Well, Super Soap Weekend is when all the Soap Opera stars from the ABC soaps go to MGM and you can meet them. They also do a lot of interviews and parades and other random things like that. It probably does not sound like a lot of fun to most of you (well probably all of you :) ) but I actually had a really good time. It was cool to meet and see these people from the shows that I have watched for forever. I got to meet this guy Greg who plays "Lucky" from General Hospital. I was pretty excited about that because he is my favorite character from the show!! We got to see a lot of the other actors and actresses from the other shows as well. We also so Erica from the first Apprentice interviewing people. Overall, it was a pretty fun weekend and I did survive spending time with my sister.
